SIMULATION
PROBLEM SOLVING SIMULATION – (TRY-FAIL-LEARN METHODOLOGY)
We use ‘Simulation’ Learning techniques, for the trainee to have a deeper understanding for real-life scenarios. In simulation, we put people under real-life scenarios and then we let them react in the safety of our training environment.
There is a huge difference between watching a Powerpoint Presentation and stepping into a real-life scenario. Rather than being subjected to theories and rigid principles and abstract concepts, the participants learn by doing.
As we do deep-learning in our life by doing mistakes, and taking the lessons out of our experiences. The Finceptive Training participants experience real, very relevant workplace situations where they have to make quick assessments and decisions with limited information at hand. We will expose the participants to simulations which are very work related, and they will also be challenged by their colleagues in the exercise wherein they will experience real life errors & problems.
The only difference between Finceptive training and real life is the safety-net of the simulation and the guidance of their facilitator. So, its true when we say that you don’t attend Finceptive training – you experience it. And that’s why you will not forget it easily
PRACTICALS
PRACTICAL CASE STUDIES & HANDS ON
Finceptive instructors teach real-world, practical techniques and methodologies that a participant can directly apply to everyday projects and workplace environment. You will learn through direct participation in the workshop.
The Hands-on training allows the person being trained to learn about the tasks by doing it. That gives him/her the opportunity to perform the task when it is being instructed, simultaneously. And since trainer is available to provide guidance, the trainee is not left out figuring out what is being instructed and doesn’t feel clueless about the training. The effectiveness of learning hard tasks in this way is way more than just being instructed through only a powerpoint presentation.
While simulations are helpful in understanding the real-world errors and problems, the hands-on enhances the learning by providing the answer to what need to be done when faced with those problems.

POST TRAINING FOLLOW UP Q&A
The Knowledge transfer between the Trainer and Trainee depends on many aspects like the design of the program, the character and mood of the trainee and the workplace environment. It has been observed in various studies that follow-up activities can enhance the learning greatly.
It has been recognised that some components in the training transfer environment could have worked as either a constrain or as an obstacle for a trainee and would have limited the transfer of the training at that particular moment.
We researched and included certain follow-up activities that support the transfer. The activities are as given below :
Action plans are taken from the trainees in a written form wherein the trainee specifies how they expect to implement their new found skills and training in their organisation. This document is taken while or and the end of the training.
Performance assessment is as the name suggests the activities that are taken to assess or measure the behaviour and the resulted tasks showcased by the trainees in the work environment while following the instructions. The assessment is done by self as well as by a supervisor and both the assessments are taken together for analysis.
Peer Learning are learnings within the peer group where the trainees do periodic meetings under the instructions or supervision of a professional staff. At these meetings trainees or employees share examples of how they have been applying the new found skills at the training. They also explain the impact of their application on the present operations and performance and also discuss the problems and hurdles to their scenario and take each other’s suggestions on how those can be eliminated.
Supervisory consultations are the once wherein trainee’s immediate supervisor is given the role of a coach or mentor to encourage skill application. Specific opportunities are defined in the post training calendar for the trainee and his supervisor to meet in a non-official and relaxed environment to discuss the actions that trainee has been undertaking and supervisor’s work is not to be critical but to offer support and encouragement in these meetings.
Technical Support involves a procedure of providing post-training information and assistance to the participants. This support is based on mandatory and on-requirement basis. The mandatory support includes reference materials and additional information on the training topics. And on-requirement support includes to help with particular questions with the trainer via electronic form and provided case to case basis as per supervisor’s discretion and direction.
